On August 13th, at the site of the
Suzhou City Division of the third "Innovate Jiangsu" University
Student Entrepreneurship Competition, 12 entrepreneurial teams from 10
districts of Suzhou competed with innovative projects covering fields such as
biomedicine, information technology, cultural creativity, intelligent
manufacturing, and new materials. After nearly 3 hours of fierce competition,
Suzhou Cornigs Polyol Co., Ltd. from Wuzhong District won the championship.
During the competition, the docking ceremony
of the G60 Science and Technology Innovation Corridor Urban Entrepreneurship
Competition was also held. Suzhou invited entrepreneurial teams from G60 cities
to participate in the 2019 "China·Suzhou" University Student
Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition to attract more young university
students to start businesses in Suzhou.
In recent years, Suzhou has optimized
the entrepreneurial environment, promoted the "Triple Creation" work,
and constructed grassroots entrepreneurship service platforms. It has created
34 entrepreneurial streets (townships) and 616 communities (villages) and
established 11 entrepreneurial parks. The management of bases has been
upgraded, focusing on improving the quality of incubation carriers. Currently,
Suzhou has 261 entrepreneurial incubation bases at all levels, including 1
national demonstration base and 36 provincial demonstration bases. To solve the
financial concerns of enterprises, Suzhou Bank's Fumin Entrepreneurship
Guarantee Loan Platform launched "Chuang-e Loan." Since its launch,
it has solved 2525 demands, with a financing amount of 360 million yuan. As of
July this year, Suzhou has successfully led 12,140 people to start businesses,
driving employment for 55,571 people. Entrepreneurs have enjoyed policy support
56,051 times, with a total amount of 301 million yuan.
