Coconut oil monoethanolamide, referred to as CMA or methyl ester, is a light yellow sheet, due to the existence of amide bonds in its molecule, it has good chemical stability in a wide range of pH, excellent dispersion, solubility, emulsifying, thickening and lubrication properties.

CMA is also one of the main components of tablet detergent consumption in the European market.
