Ethylene glycol monostearate (EGMS), ethylene glycol stearate (ethylene glycol stearate), is an organic compound. It is the double ester of ethylene glycol and stearic acid, commonly used as emulsifier, dispersant and solubilizer in cosmetics such as shower gel, shampoo and moisturizing wave.
