Isomaltose

Isomaltose is a special type of sugar alcohol product, which is obtained by enzymatic treatment of starch. It is a mixture consisting of multiple isomaltose molecules and maltose molecules. These molecules exist at a small degree of polymerization (the number of sugars in the molecule), and the molecules of oligo-isomaltol are relatively large relative to the monosaccharides.

Product Functional Category and Applications

Oligopolymeric isomaltol is like a "sweet master" with special skills in the fields of food, medicine and health products.

1. In terms of food, it is like a "sugar mixer". When we want a sweet tooth but don't want to eat too much sugar, it can replace some of the sugar and keeping the food a little sweet without letting blood sugar rise dramatically. It is often found in low-calorie foods, diabetes-friendly foods. Especially for people who care about blood sugar, it is like a "patron saint of blood sugar". Because of its special molecular structure, the absorption is relatively slow, so if you eat the food containing it, the blood sugar rise is more stable, not as violent as eating ordinary sugar.

2. In medicine and health products, oligomeric isomaltol is like a "healthy friend". It can maintain the balance of the gut, facilitate digestion and absorption, and help people keep their bodies healthy.

Overall, oligo-isomaltol is a useful "sweet taste expert". It has an important role in food, medicine and health products, making us eat sweetly without losing blood sugar and health out of control.
