Dodecylbenzenesulphonic acid

Dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid is an organic compound with a yellowish to brown viscous liquid. Dissolve in water, heat generation when diluted with water. Slightly soluble in benzene, xylene, easily soluble in methanol, ethanol, propanol, b and other organic solvents. It has the effects of emulsification, dispersion and decontamination.

  1. Dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid  is mainly used in the manufacture of sodium salt, calcium salt and comparative salts of anionic surfactants, and is also used as an emulsifier for organochlorine and organophosphorus pesticides.

  2. Can be used as a curing catalyst for ammonia group baking paint, used for the preparation of various liquid, solid detergent, and also used in all kinds of cosmetic formulations. Because of its good washing performance in acid solution, it is often used in the preparation of acid solution detergent such as toilet detergent.
