Sodium dodecyl sulfate / K12 (powder, needle) / SDS

Sodium dodecyl sulfate, one of the commonly used surfactants, is the main component of detergent. It is often used during DNA extraction to denature proteins apart from DNA. Sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) is widely used as a foaming in toothpaste, soap, shower lotion, shampoo, washing powder, and cosmetics. Ninety-five percent of personal skincare products and home cleaning products contain sodium dodecyl sulfate.
