4-Morpholineethanesulfonic acid

4-Morpholineethanesulfonic acid is a surfactant commonly used in the manufacture of detergents, laundry detergent, shampoo and other cleaning and personal care products. It is made by esterification of fatty acid methyl ester with sulfuric acid and then sulfation of the product.
