From October 12th to 15th, the final round of the 7th China International "Internet+" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, jointly hosted by 12 central ministries and commissions including the Ministry of Education and the People's Government of Jiangxi Province, concluded at Nanchang University. After intense competition, our university won 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 1 bronze medal. Among them, our institute won one gold medal and one silver medal, creating a new historical record for the college.

The China International "Internet+" College Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition is jointly organized by twelve ministries and commissions including the Ministry of Education and local provincial governments. This year marks the seventh edition of the competition. The competition officially started in April 2021 with the theme "Dare to Venture, Able to Create." A total of over 2.28 million projects and more than 9.56 million individuals from 4,347 institutions from 121 countries and regions worldwide participated. The project "Cornigs Polyols: Leader in polyol industry, conquering the trillion-dollar blue ocean of stars " (supervised by Chen Chenzi, Guo Kai, and Yao Shanji) led by our graduate Sun Ke, achieved first place in the group and won the gold medal in the national finals, also earning qualification for the "Top Three Qualifying Competition" in the higher education main track (out of 47 projects nationwide, only 7 from Jiangsu entered the "Top Three Qualifying Competition"). The project "Pine Nut Study Society Empowering Youth Career Growth" (participated by Hou Mengxiao from the 2019 Accounting class of the Economic Research Institute, Wu Mengqian from the 2021 Business Administration class, and Chen Rong, etc., under the guidance of Teacher Zhou Yang) won the silver medal in the national finals of the higher education main track.

Currently, the "Internet+" Competition has become an important measure for implementing the fundamental task of moral education and improving the quality of talent training in higher education. It has become an important platform for promoting the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities, showcasing the achievements of teaching reform in higher education in the new era, and a global event for world university students to realize their dreams of innovation and entrepreneurship. In the future, the institute will continue to adhere to the concept of "learning, teaching, and innovation through competition," further enhance students' awareness and abilities in innovation and entrepreneurship, strive to cultivate young students into a strong force for mass entrepreneurship and innovation, and contribute "double innovation" strength to the construction of domestically first-class and internationally renowned entrepreneurial universities!
