Recently, at the 23rd China International Industry Fair 2023, Schneider Electric, a global expert in energy management and automation, officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Suzhou Cornigs Polyol Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Cornigs Company"), aiming to jointly build a leading domestic fully automated and informatized demonstration production line for polyol production. Mr. Pang Xingjian, Senior Vice President of Schneider Electric and Head of Industrial Automation for China, and Dr. Sha Feng, Vice President of Suzhou Cornigs Polyol Co., Ltd., attended the event and signed the agreement.
Established in 2018, Suzhou Cornigs Polyol Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research, development, production, and application of bio-based intermediates, materials, and polymers, based on disciplines such as synthetic biology and materials science. Cornigs Company has pioneered the expansion of traditional food polyol industries into industrial applications. It is a key industrial introduction project in Suzhou and was recognized as a national high-tech enterprise in 2022. Its business covers various fields such as bio-based polyols, biomaterials, biomedicine, bioproducts, modern agriculture, biochemistry, and electronic new materials. The company can provide comprehensive product and technical solutions including demand assessment, technology development, product customization, application process development, and intellectual property sharing. Its main product, bio-based functional polyols, has attributes such as being fully bio-based, "negative carbon" emissions, and "food-grade" safety. It has entered the global supply chains of many Fortune 500 companies, leading the development of the domestic industry.
According to the agreement, Schneider Electric will provide Suzhou Cornigs Polyol Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Cornigs Company") with a series of targeted solutions, including the ProLeiT Batch iT batch control system, ProLeiT Batch iT MWS material weighing system, ProLeiT Material iT material management system, AVEVA PI System big data management platform, and more. The ProLeiT Batch iT batch control system can separate process parameters from equipment control, meeting diverse production needs while ensuring process confidentiality. The combination of ProLeiT Batch iT and Material iT enables full-process control from material weighing, ingredient verification, process production, product packaging to finished product transfer, facilitating the creation of fully automated production lines compliant with GMP standards. Automated production lines not only enhance process stability but also reduce labor demand and intensity, enabling one-person multiple-station production and an estimated 30% increase in personnel productivity. Benefitting from the excellent scalability of ProLeiT Batch iT, seamless integration with upper and lower-level systems can be achieved, avoiding redundant system construction, transparentizing enterprise management levels, and reducing the construction cost of production operation management systems by approximately 40%.
