Suzhou Cornigs Polyols Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") recognizes the importance of sustainability and traceability. We incorporate economic, environmental, and social considerations into all production and operational activities, and are committed to producing high-quality palm oil products that meet customer demands. The Company adheres to the principles of no deforestation, no peat development, and no exploitation (NDPE), and promotes responsible palm oil sourcing with respect to environmental and social integrity.


Business Requirements

1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

Comply with applicable legal obligations, laws and regulations, as well as other relevant commitments signed by the group.

2. Commitment to Certified Palm Oil

Commit to purchasing and providing certified palm oil products as required by customers.

3. Promotion of Best Practices in Sustainable Palm Oil

Encourage suppliers and plantations to adopt best practices in sustainable palm oil, including but not limited to:

o No deforestation of HCV or HCS forests;

o No new development on peatlands regardless of depth;

No conversion of natural ecosystems (e.g., forests, wetlands, grasslands) to agricultural or industrial land (No Conversion commitment);

o No use of fire for land clearing;

o Full NDPE compliance (No Deforestation, No Peat, No Exploitation);

o Compliance with international human rights and labor standards;

o Transparent and traceable supply chain management;

o Application of HCV and HCS approaches.

4. Restoration and Compensation for Deforestation/Conversion

If deforestation or conversion is identified in our operations or supply chain, we commit to support restoration or compensation in line with international best practices and NDPE principles. Our suppliers are also required to engage in remediation when non-compliance occurs.

5. Cut-off Date Commitment

ur palm oil sourcing policy specifies a cut-off date of December 31, 2015 for deforestation and conversion. Any related activity occurring after this date is considered non-compliant. This policy has been formally integrated into our procurement system and communicated to suppliers.

6. Establish and Maintain Management Systems

Continuously maintain, monitor, audit, and improve the palm oil procurement system to align with international standards such as the Accountability Framework Initiative.

7. Strengthen Internal and External Communication

Communicate company expectations and responsibilities clearly to all employees and business partners to ensure alignment.


Grievance Mechanism

Employees or partners who detect or suspect any misconduct or illegal act are encouraged to report to the company or directly to the General Manager (email: sunke@cornigs.com). Whistleblowers will be protected in accordance with the "Whistleblower Protection Policy."


Policy Review and Updates

The Company will periodically review and update this policy based on legal changes, business developments, industry practices, and stakeholder feedback.
