Suzhou Cornigs Polyols Co., Ltd. upholds the principles of “respecting, complying with, and protecting nature” and is committed to integrating biodiversity protection into our corporate responsibility system. We actively assess, control, and restore biodiversity-related impacts throughout our operations and supply chain.
We have committed to achieving Zero Conversion of natural ecosystems by 2025 and are progressively incorporating ecosystem impact indicators in line with Science Based Targets for Nature (SBTn) to reduce and manage our ecological footprint.
Before launching new projects, we strictly conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs), including biodiversity-specific evaluations. These cover ecosystem vulnerability, vegetation, species distribution, and aquatic biodiversity. We formulate preventive and restoration plans, ensuring pollution control infrastructure is implemented alongside the main projects. Our new factory is currently undergoing such an EIA process, including biodiversity.
