on December 20th. Representatives of provincial enterprises encountering overseas intellectual property disputes shared their experiences, and overseas intellectual property dispute resolution guidance experts provided on-site comments. More than 20 companies from the province that had experienced overseas intellectual property disputes participated in this seminar and training.

During the experience sharing session, Suzhou Cornigs Polyol Co., Ltd. reviewed the intellectual property disputes with Cornng in the United States and Nanjing Cornigs, Jiangsu Jiangyin Huachang Food Additives Co., Ltd. shared the case of taurine (2-aminoethanesulfonic acid) subject to a "337 investigation," and Changzhou Kaidi Electrical Appliance Co., Ltd. introduced the domestic patent dispute case of office furniture products in Germany. These three cases involve three types of international intellectual property arbitration, the U.S. "337 investigation," and the European domestic simultaneous intellectual property litigation, which are highly representative. Lawyers Lou Xianying from King & Wood Mallesons Beijing Office, Ran Ruixue from Covington & Burling LLP, and Jiang Haijun from Jiangsu Ruitu Law Firm provided insightful comments on the above three cases from the perspectives of corporate empowerment, lawyer support, government platforms, and industry collaboration, proposing targeted and constructive suggestions. The participating companies expressed that they benefited greatly from the seminar.

During the interactive exchange session, participating companies freely expressed their opinions and had in-depth discussions and communications with experts on issues such as the consent order procedure and avoidance design of the U.S. "337 investigation," the subsequent impact of rulings, and how to avoid overseas market intellectual property risks based on their own experiences of encountering overseas intellectual property disputes. The Jiangsu Branch also distributed the "Detailed Explanation and Practical Guide to the U.S. '337 Investigation' Procedure" compiled by the National Overseas Intellectual Property Dispute Resolution Guidance Center, which received high praise from the participating companies.

Next, the Jiangsu Branch will organize more sharing activities around overseas intellectual property disputes such as the U.S. "337 investigation" in which provincial companies are deeply involved. It will leverage its role as a "server" for overseas intellectual property rights protection, an "amplifier" for overseas intellectual property rules, and a "booster" for enhancing intellectual property capabilities to help more companies understand, respect, and apply international intellectual property rules, thereby improving their ability to handle overseas intellectual property disputes.
