On September 26, 2022, the Suzhou Industry and Information Technology Bureau released the list of innovative small and medium-sized enterprises for the year 2022. In order to promote the high-quality development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) throughout the city, the announcement was made in accordance with the Interim Measures for Graded Cultivation and Management of High-Quality SMEs issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) (MIIT Enterprise [2022] No. 63) and the Notice on Organizing the Evaluation of "Thousand Enterprises Upgrading" Enterprises and the Evaluation of Innovative SMEs in 2022 issued by the Jiangsu Provincial Industry and Information Technology Department (Suzhou Industry and Information [2022] No. 361). The list was determined through procedures including voluntary application by enterprises, evaluation and assessment by local authorities, and confirmation by the municipal Industry and Information Technology Bureau.

It is hoped that SMEs will continue to focus on niche areas, further enhance their innovation capabilities, professional levels, and core competitiveness. By persisting in the path of high-quality development characterized by specialization and innovation, SMEs will provide strong support for promoting the high-quality development of the city's industrial economy.
