In the afternoon of January 7th, the third session of the fifth committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) of Wuzhong District, Suzhou City, was opened at the Taihu International Conference Center. The meeting was attended by 336 committee members, with 315 members present, meeting the statutory quorum.

Those present at the opening ceremony and seated on the rostrum included:

The leaders of the Wuzhong District Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the People's Congress, and the government of the district, as well as the main leaders of the district court and procuratorate. Also present were the main leaders of the former Wuxian County, Wuxian City, and the four leadership teams of Wuzhong District, the chairman, vice-chairmen, secretary-general, and standing committee members of the CPPCC of the district, as well as Hong Kong delegates Wu Jianlun, Lin Yisen, and Gu Ying.

Those invited to attend the meeting included:

Former vice-chairmen and secretaries-general of the CPPCC, leaders of departments at the bureau level or above from the resort area, development zone, high-tech zone, and Taihu New City, directors of the management committees of the high-tech zone and Taihu New City, secretaries of party committees (working committees) of various towns (streets), as well as the main leaders of departments, directly affiliated companies, and vertically managed departments at the district level. Sun Ke, the party branch secretary of our company, attended the opening ceremony of the conference as a member of the CPPCC of the district.
