Since the second Youth League Congress, the school Youth League Committee has closely focused on the central work of the school and higher-level Youth League organizations. Utilizing extracurricular activities as a platform, it has implemented four major Communist Youth League education projects: "Fashionable Nan Gong," "Integration of Knowledge and Action," "Innovation Climbing," and "Artistic Pursuit of Excellence," solidly carrying out various tasks and achieving remarkable results.

The "Innovation Climbing" Project

Creativity is the hallmark of youth; innovation is the soul of youth. Our school actively promotes the "Innovation Climbing" project to stimulate innovative thinking among young students, foster an entrepreneurial atmosphere, and provide a platform for innovation and entrepreneurship, achieving fruitful results.

The "Challenge Cup" National College Students' Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition

Our school has consistently been among the initiators of the "Challenge Cup" competition, winning the championship several times and consecutively receiving special awards in the national college students' extracurricular academic science and technology works competition for three sessions. In the thirteenth edition, we ranked eighth among universities nationwide.

The "Chuang Qing Chun" National College Students' Entrepreneurship Competition

The "Chuang Qing Chun" National College Students' Entrepreneurship Competition is a reform and upgrade of the "Challenge Cup" Chinese College Students' Entrepreneurship Plan Competition. It was established in response to the call for "mass innovation and entrepreneurship" and to meet the needs of the development of college student entrepreneurship. The competition is held once every two years.

In the 2016 "Chuang Qing Chun" National College Students' Entrepreneurship Competition, our school's three projects all won gold awards, ranking second among universities in the province in terms of the number of gold awards.

Entrepreneurship Lecture Hall and Academic Lecture Hall

Since October 2009, the School Youth League Committee has been organizing the "Academic Lecture Hall," focusing on high-level academic reports in natural sciences. This series has featured visits from academicians, renowned scientists, and leading figures in science and technology.

Through platforms like the "Entrepreneurship Lecture Hall," we have vigorously promoted entrepreneurship education. Since 2009, we have organized 96 sessions of the "Entrepreneurship Lecture Hall," featuring talks by entrepreneurial experts and sharing of entrepreneurial experiences.

At the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the Student Elite Entrepreneurship Association and the Entrepreneurship Mentor Summit Forum, Vice President Cui Yihu awarded certificates of appointment to guest mentors.

"Chuang Zhi Meng" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Works Tour

To create a strong atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship and enrich campus culture, since 2014, the School Youth League Committee has annually organized the "Chuang Zhi Meng" Innovation and Entrepreneurship Works Tour. This event showcases student innovation and entrepreneurship achievements, integrating various competitions and exhibitions.

As of 2017, the "Innovation Cup" National College Students' Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition has been held for 14 sessions, the "Innovation Cup" National College Students' Entrepreneurship Competition for 11 sessions, and the Undergraduate Academic Science and Technology Forum for 13 sessions. Thousands of works and tens of thousands of students participate in various levels of innovation and entrepreneurship competitions each year.

Supporting Student Entrepreneurship

At the end of 2012, our school's "DreamWorks for Entrepreneurship" Pre-entrepreneurship Practice Incubation Park was established in the basement of the Student Activity Center. The park aims to support students' independent entrepreneurship by providing policies, venues, and financial support for students' entrepreneurship, serving as a platform for the school's entrepreneurship education and practice.

Up to now, 56 enterprises have successfully incubated and registered in the park, nurturing mature projects such as "8 Tian Online," "Wisdom Innovative Materials," "Cornigs Chemicals," "Youth Travel," and "Yitao Nano."
