On the afternoon of July 31, 2018, the "Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition" in Jiangsu Province and the Hui Mountain Activity Week for Overseas Youth Elite Talent concluded successfully.

Speech by Huang Qin, Acting Mayor of the Wuxi Municipal People's Government~

Huang Qin warmly invited young friends to Wuxi for innovation and entrepreneurship to achieve their dreams. He stated that in recent years, under the guidance of the core strategy of innovation-driven development and the dominant strategy of building a strong industrial city, Wuxi's economic development has maintained a good momentum of steady progress and quality improvement. In the first half of this year, the main economic indicators performed better than the same period last year, better than the initial expectations for the year, and better than the provincial average, indicating stronger development vitality. Currently, Wuxi is striving to become a benchmark, demonstration, and leader in high-quality development in the province, comprehensively promoting "six aspects of high-quality development," and accelerating the construction of a modern industrial system featuring coordinated development of the real economy, scientific and technological innovation, modern finance, and human resources. Wang Wei sincerely thanked the Wuxi Municipal Party Committee and Government, as well as the Huishan District Committee and Government, for their strong support to the competition. He praised the hard work of the expert judges and the wonderful performance of the contestants. He stated that in the future, the Communist Youth League will continue to leverage its organizational and operational advantages, establish a "Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Group" to gather innovative entrepreneurial talents, further improve the "Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Classes," hold the "Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition" to gather innovative projects, establish the "Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Board" to provide entrepreneurial financial services, and build the "Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park" to create physical service platforms. Professor Zhou Xiaohu from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, representing the judges, provided feedback on the competition.

Gao Jin, Chairman of Taihu Jingu, introduced the operation of the China Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Board.

Dr. Zhu Yueqiu, project leader of the Hui Mountain Activity Week for Overseas Youth Elite Talent and President of the Sino-French Youth Entrepreneurs Association, made a presentation.
