Twenty entrepreneurial role models competed on the same stage, vying for the title of the most outstanding entrepreneurial pioneers in the province. With the strength of Quchacha, Polyols, and Digital Printing, Suzhou once again demonstrated its prowess in innovation and entrepreneurship, as five individuals secured six awards, clinching the top spot in the province!

Today, a reporter from Suzhou learned from the Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security that in the just-concluded final of the third "Innovation Jiangsu" University Student Entrepreneurship Competition, five participants from Suzhou were awarded six major prizes, ranking first in both the number of awards and rankings province-wide!

Among them, Sun Ke, the founder of Suzhou Cornigs Polyol Co., Ltd., won the championship in the "Entrepreneurship Project Competition" with the project "Development and Utilization of Functional Polyols."

It is often said that the "post-90s generation" has yet to open their eyes to the world, but they are already immersed in the currents of the times. Sun Ke, 28, is an exception. Three years ago, he completed his undergraduate and master's studies at Nanjing Tech University and began his journey in the polyol industry. He discovered that ordinary monomer polyols could solve the problem of degradation of polyethylene materials.

"Polyols change the way people take photos. When you use a Polaroid camera, the influence of temperature on the image is minimal," Sun Ke said. Currently, his research on monomer polyols is transitioning from application technology to in-depth development technology. As polyol research progresses, more applications may be realized.

As a native entrepreneurial team of university students, Sun Ke brought his team to Suzhou. The team includes many industry elites, persuading them to come to Suzhou was not an easy task. Sun Ke has done a lot of ideological work for this. Suzhou naturally deserves its reputation as a paradise on earth, but to conduct research, one also needs to understand the business.

Suzhou holds an important position in the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta. Procuring raw materials from Shanghai Port and transporting them by land to Wuzhong incurs minimal costs. With increasing production volume, water transportation will gradually become the main mode of transportation. Sun Ke told reporters from Suzhou that in terms of polyol research, the cost of transportation by water from Suzhou to Singapore is equivalent to that of land transportation from Suzhou to Nanjing.

"It feels great to be back home," Sun Ke said with a smile. Everything here is familiar to me. Because of mutual understanding, research becomes smoother, and hometown preferential policies give the team unparalleled strength. "If we're going to do it, let's do it with the solid manufacturing of Suzhou." Sun Ke is full of confidence. In August, he won the Suzhou division of the "Innovation Jiangsu" University Student Entrepreneurship Competition, and once again clinched the championship in the final of the "Innovation Jiangsu" University Student Entrepreneurship Competition.

Today, Sun Ke's company has achieved annual sales exceeding 70 million yuan, with product sales exceeding 10,000 tons. With the establishment of new production lines, more high-end production capacity will be unleashed, and the output value is expected to quickly surpass 100 million yuan.

According to Suzhou reporters, since the launch of the final of the third "Innovation Jiangsu" University Student Entrepreneurship Competition in June this year, a total of 20 entrepreneurial role models have emerged and entered the finals.

The Suzhou project "Development and Utilization of Functional Polyols" won the championship in the "Entrepreneurship Project Competition"; Chen Deqiang, the founder of Suzhou Langdong Network Technology Co., Ltd., won the second place in the "Entrepreneurial Role Model Competition"; Zhang Xue, General Manager of Suzhou Miwei Cultural and Art Co., Ltd., was awarded the "Top Ten University Student Entrepreneurial Role Models in Jiangsu" and the Best Popularity Award of the entire event; "Research and Industrialization of Digital Printing Coating Functional Materials" won the second place in the "Entrepreneurship Project Competition", and "Magpie on Branch" won the third prize.

The top ten players in the finals also received the title of "Top Ten University Student Entrepreneurial Role Models in Jiangsu".

According to information from the Suzhou Municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, in the first half of this year, a total of 5,172 people in Suzhou participated in entrepreneurship training; 10,548 people successfully started their own businesses, including 1,225 university students; and entrepreneurship has driven employment for 44,471 people. A total of 452 people in the city received entrepreneurship guarantee loans, amounting to 52.3 million yuan.
