Yesterday (August 13th), the Suzhou City Division of the third "Innovate Jiangsu" University Student Entrepreneurship Competition concluded successfully at the Dantai Lake Hotel in Suzhou.

This year's participating projects covered various fields including biomedicine, information technology, cultural creativity, intelligent manufacturing, and new materials. Through competition registration, qualification review, project evaluation, and on-site visits, a total of 12 entrepreneurial teams advanced to the finals. The top four teams in the finals will enter the 2019 "China·Suzhou" University Student Entrepreneurship and Innovation Grand Finals.

The first prize winner is from Wuzhong District!

After completing his undergraduate and master's degrees, 28-year-old Sun Ke entered the polyol industry. He discovered that ordinary monomer polyols could solve the degradation problem of polyethylene. He mentioned that the current research on monomer polyols is transitioning from application technology to deep development technology. With the deepening of polyol research, more applications may be realized.

Currently, products from Suzhou Cornigs Polyol Co., Ltd. have successfully entered many Fortune 500 companies including Germany's Wacker Chemie AG, America's DuPont, Japan's Fuji Film, and Denmark's Danisco. Annual sales have exceeded 70 million yuan, with product sales surpassing 10,000 tons. With the establishment of new production lines, more high-end production capacity will be released, and the output value is expected to rapidly exceed 100 million yuan.

The Suzhou City Division of the third "Innovate Jiangsu" University Student Entrepreneurship Competition has come to a perfect conclusion, but this is just the beginning of the 2019 "China·Suzhou" University Student Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition. In September 2019, domestic university competitions will begin. Entrepreneurial teams recommended by universities outside Suzhou will register for the competition, and the competition committee will conduct qualification reviews and evaluations, selecting four teams to advance to the "China·Suzhou" Grand Finals. In October 2019, the overseas team competition will take place. Entrepreneurial teams organized by overseas entrepreneurial service agencies will register for the competition, and through the same process, two teams will be selected to advance to the "China·Suzhou" Grand Finals.

Through fierce competition in four channels including local university competitions, local youth competitions, domestic university competitions, and overseas team competitions, the judging panel will select 12 entrepreneurial teams to participate in the 2019 "China·Suzhou" University Student Entrepreneurship and Innovation Competition Grand Finals and Award Ceremony in November 2019.
